In recognition of World Day for Assistive Technology, we’re thrilled to highlight our collaboration with Dot Glasses as part of the UK International Development’s AT2030 Programme, delivered in partnership with Senses Hub. This initiative supports academic research and validation of Dot Glasses' innovative model, with the goal of ensuring its long-term scalability and sustainability.

Dot Glasses is a global social enterprise on a mission to revolutionise access to eye care. Now operating in eight countries, they address the global vision crisis by offering scalable, cost-effective distribution models. Their patented adjustable frames and lens technology ensure a perfect fit for any face, while their simple, effective eye test method removes the need for a specialist on the ground making clear sight accessible to everyone

As part of our current work in Kenya, we have distributed more than 200 pairs of glasses while evaluating the impact of low-cost assistive technologies. These early efforts are instrumental in understanding the potential of scalable vision care solutions in low-resource settings.
