AT2030 Nepal Symposium
From 8 to 10 October 2025, Royal Academy of Engineering will host its next Frontiers Symposium in Kathmandu, Nepal, under the theme:
Inclusive Innovation in Action: Community-led Assistive Technology Solutions in Local Context.
The event aims to explore Inclusive Innovation in Action: Community-led Assistive Technology Solutions in Local Context through 3 different sub-themes:
- Local innovation and Production for Sustainable AT Provisioning
- Integration and Inclusion for Transformed AT Delivery
- AT Solutions for Improved Access
This is a unique chance to connect, learn and co-create solutions that centre community leadership and lived experience.
By connecting and empowering early- to mid-career researchers, innovators, and practitioners from around the world, this symposium will explore innovative, context-appropriate, and sustainable strategies to strengthen assistive technology (AT) solutions, with a particular focus on low-resource settings.
This AT2030 Frontiers symposium is a collaboration between the Royal Academy of Engineering and GDI Hub's AT2030 Programme, and in partnership with Kathmandu University (KU). AT2030 is funded by UK International Development.
