Data and Evidence Portal

Our Data and Evidence portal combines research from the Rapid Assessments of Assistive Technology and various global studies. The portal aims to improve access to life-changing assistive technology for all.

We combine the research gathered through work funded by AT2030, such as the Rapid Assessments of Assistive Technology, with published academic and non-academic studies globally. So far, the portal provides access to more than 800 resources across 112 countries and has been developed by the Global Disability Innovation Hub at University College London - the world's first World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Collaborating Centre for Assistive Technology (AT). The insights portal is funded by UK aid as part of the GDI Hub's AT2030 programme to improve access to life-changing AT for all.

Strengthening data and creating better evidence will also be a focus as we use our expertise in population-based research design to enhance accurate data for evidence-making across partners and stakeholders.

We are now working on methods of enhanced data science and artificial intelligence-driven mechanisms to maximise resource impact and amplification.

By reducing data gaps and promoting knowledge sharing, we aim to support evidence-based policy-level decision-making.
