GDI Hub dan Kota Kita telah bekerjasama untuk memperkuat aksesibilitas yang inklusif melalui program AT2030 : Inclusive Infrastructure Study di Solo, Indonesia. Inisiatif ini dilaksanakan dengan kajian riset terkait inklusivitas lingkungan binaan dan mendalami pengalaman penyandang disabilitas ketika menggunakan ruang-ruang di kota. Pada riset ini, tim peneliti berdiskusi dengan perwakilan penyandang disabilitas, pemerintah kota, akademisi, arsitek dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Melalui metode kreatif seperti wawancara semi-terstruktur, fotografi (photo diaries), dan lokakarya desain bersama (co-design) peneliti dan fasilitator mengikutsertakan aspirasi penyandang disabilitas sebagai bagian paling penting dari riset ini. Laporan studi kasus yang menjadi keluaran riset ini menggambarkan seperti apa pengalaman sehari-hari penyandang disabilitas di Kota Solo dan bagaimana kita semua bisa mendorong aksesibilitas dan inklusivitas ruang-ruang kota yang lebih baik—terutama untuk kelompok rentan seperti penyandang disabilitas.

GDI Hub had collaborated with Kota Kita to strengthen inclusive accessibility through the AT2030 : Inclusive Infrastructure in Solo, Indonesia. This initiatives is aimed to examine urban inclusivity and day to day experience of persons with disabilities in the built environment. In this research, the team engaged a representative sample of persons with disabilities, city government officials, academics, architects, and other stakeholders. Through creative methods such as semi-structured interviews, photo diaries, and co-design workshops, the research team and facilitator put the voices of persons with disabilities at the centre of the research. The case study report captures the day-to-day experiences of persons with disabilities in Solo city and how we can promote accessibility and inclusion for a better urban space – especially for marginalized groups such as persons with disabilities.
