Kilimanjaro Blind Trust

Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Africa (KBTA) is a charitable Trust based in Nairobi, Kenya. They provide access to digital Braille literacy & life skills to children and young adults with visual impairment and deaf-blindness and serve over 3000 learners across 200 schools in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.

KBT have been working with children and young adults with visual impairments in Africa for over a decade. By improving literacy among children and young adults with visual impairments, KBT are helping children and young adults to receive quality education, higher job placement rates, higher levels of integration and independent living.
